Mulled Wine with an extra HIT

Mulled Wine with an extra HIT

Mulled wine in these colder months is the perfect drink. Warm, herbal, spiced! What more could you ask for on a cold winter's night. Easy to make and ready in less than 10 minutes be sure to try this recipe next time you have a bottle of Pinot Noir.

Ingredients

  • All you need is:
  • 1 Bottle of Rabbit Ranch Pinot Noir
  • 3 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 8 Cloves
  • 1 cup of Orange juice
  • 1/2 cup of Fireball - optional
  • Herbal tea bags - berry bliss or citrus
  • Orange slices

To serve

  •  Cinnamon sugar rim
  • Orange slices soaked in mulled wine

How to Make It

On medium heat - put on a pot with the Pinot Noir, spices and orange juice. Let that cook for 5 minutes. Then add fireball, herbal tea bags and orange juice and cook for another 5 minutes or until it has reached your desired temperature.

While waiting for that to cook grab a heat proof glass, cup, mug whichever you prefer and create a sugar and cinnamon rim.

Once ready, strain the mixture, then pour into your prepared cups. Slice a mulled wine soaked orange and pop it in. Enjoy right away.

You can also always prepare this and heat it up when you want to enjoy it.
