Why do we love Public Kitchen and Bar? We love it because it’s a fantastic spot on the Queenstown waterfront which offers exceptional local cuisine, which is all about local produce caught in the hills or farmed down the road or caught off the coast.
Its’ serves up good honest Kiwi Fare, tapas style or a la carte with some of the best burgers we’ve ever tasted, and those sticky pork belly sticks keep locals coming back for more!
Using the best local produce in Southland and Central Otago, hunted in the hills or foraged from the farms around Queenstown, chef-owner Martin James and executive chef Stephen Clayton, have expertly crafted mouth-watering dishes which stay true to their natural environment. Public is about bringing people together to enjoy classic, homely food while sharing a bottle of Rabbit Ranch…or two.
